Maple Syrup

Heritage Sugar Bush and Maple Products is a six generation family operation. It began as a means for the Snyder and Maier families to have a sweetener during the rough years of wars and depression. Later it became a means of income for the Sim and Lester Maier families. Now the sugar bush celebrates the coming of spring and family with 4 generations of the Sim Maier family gathering on the family property to gather sap and finish the syrup. We think you can taste the rich family history, and joy that goes into our product.

Raw Honey

Ouwinga Apiaries is a small family operation. We all have bee suits and help work the bees, from mom and dad down to our 4 years old. We work with our bees to produce delicious honey for the local community. We started in beekeeping 6 years ago in order to get local honey for ourselves and our family. We quickly became fascinated and addicted to the hobby. A couple years ago we scaled up our operation and added many more hives because we had so many people loving our honey and wanting more of it. We hope to continue growing and being able to produce more honey as well as help out the local area with pollination.
